This course provides students with a comprehensive exploration of Information Warfare and its critical role in defence, government, and industry. Students will examine how Information Operations (IO) are used to shape perceptions, influence decision-making, and achieve strategic objectives across various sectors to achieve Information Advantage. The curriculum covers key IO components, including psychological operations, Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), cyber influence, electronic warfare, and strategic communication, with a focus on real-world applications.
Through case studies and practical demonstration, participants will gain insight into how military organisations, government agencies, and private industries employ IO to detect and counter disinformation threats, manage crises, maintain resilience and enhance operational effectiveness in an increasingly complex information environment.
