SOIO Advanced Courses
SOIO’s Advanced Courses are designed for experienced practitioners seeking to deepen their operational understanding and application of information-related capabilities in modern military environments. Building on foundational knowledge, these courses focus on the integration, synchronisation, and employment of capabilities such as Electronic Warfare, Electro-Optics and Weapon Systems within complex, multi-domain contexts.
Delivered by instructors with current operational experience, the Advanced Courses emphasise practical application through scenario-based learning, planning exercises, and case studies. Participants develop the skills required to translate strategic intent into coordinated, effects-based plans, enabling them to contribute effectively to mission success in contested and rapidly evolving operating environments.
SOIO offers both classified and unclassified courses.
Our unclassified courses are available to participants with an AU/CA/NZ/US/UK Citizenship or who hold an active AGSVA NV1 (or higher) security clearance.
Our classified courses are suitable for personnel with an active AGSVA NV1 (or higher) security clearance and an established need-to-know. Those who work in the wider Defence industry wishing to attend must have an Australian / New Zealand Government sponsor (minimum APS6/O4) who can provide a recommendation of attendance and confirmation of the need-to-know.
