Aircraft and Weapons Systems - AC003

Overview

Course duration: 5 Days

The Aircraft and Weapons Systems (AWS) course provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamental components and principles underlying modern aircraft and missile systems. Participants will explore key topics such as aircraft and weapon components, propulsion systems, aerodynamics, warheads and fuzes, and the essential reference frames and coordinate systems used in aerospace operations. The curriculum also covers navigation, guidance, and control systems, ensuring students understand both the theoretical and practical aspects of flight and targeting technologies.

Through a blend of online and face-to-face instruction, the course emphasizes both foundational knowledge and applied skills. Learners will engage in group exercises and analyse real-world scenarios, gaining insight into testing and development cycles for both missiles and aircraft. By the end of the course, students will be equipped to define, explain, and apply core concepts, preparing them for further study for roles in aerospace, defence, or related technical fields.
